The Digital World

The world has shifted more than ever before. Three months into quarantine and I already feel I have gotten more done than I did before the quarantine. It’s fascinating, how sudden stress, shifts human minds into survival mode. During compressing circumstances, the mind adapts within seconds to prepare for survival. Some may feel temporarily hopeless and defeated, while others are actively adapting to the new normal.

I know it’s not easy to adjust to this new era but know that we will endure this and when we do it’ll be a different world, as we are battling this global pandemic together. Let’s reinstall 2020 and instead of hoping, let’s take serious actions to work towards making a better future not just for ourselves but also for our community. This is just the beginning of the new normal and here are 5 positive ways to look for that silver lining that I deeply foresee.

Building genuine relationships

The rat race has never stopped for us, from running around to make ends meet and rushing for urgent meetings. Setting up schedules to meet with old friends or a family member, that often ends up being rescheduled. There has not been a better time than now by connecting with our loved ones, this pandemic is sure to be our worst enemy, but not only it has reconnected us with our family and friends but also allowed us to be part of other communities.

As much as social media platforms can be toxic, on the other hand, it is our savior. It’s all about finding the right balance and not wasting most of our time scrolling down the feed. This has also made us realize and set boundaries with relationships, for lack of a better word, that are dead-end, whether they are with a family member or even a friend.

Life transformation

Let’s be real, our life won’t be the same again. The time has changed and most of us are on airplane mode. Whether we like it or not this new normal has made us aware of the importance of our personal hygiene.

We will now remember to cover our mouths when we sneeze or cough and immediately sanitize our hands when touching anything else. However, as humans, we are bound to be connected to others and that is something that is not going to change.

Staying connected

This is the perfect time to be innovative and creative. Many companies around the world are coming up with different products and finding ideas, tricks, and tips to help us outdo these lock-downs. Enabling us to stay connected with our co-workers and loved ones. This is the perfect time to come up with new innovations and trends.

Many organizations are finding ways to sustain themselves and to keep their customer database. Those companies are not letting this pandemic destroy them, but they are finding new ways and strategies to strengthen their businesses.

Is it safe to invest?

Investing in Bitcoin, Litecoin, or even Blue-Chip stocks is predicted to double your investment in the years to come. However, I would highly recommend doing your research before investing. It is essential to first research or even attends online webinars to understand the basic principles of investing in Bitcoin and other stock markets before putting your eggs in the basket.

In addition, this is a good time for companies that do require offices, to invest in properties and mortgages. Since 2017, the prices of real estate have weakened and since 2018 the mortgages have declined by over 1% across various types of mortgages. This is defiantly a great time to invest, but don’t rush yourself into making wrong and hasty investments.

Virtual Innovation

This trend has taken virtual innovations by storm. Collaborative social innovations like inVision, Aha, Automatic, GitLab, etc. are some of the great resources to get you up to speed and to help you stay on track and be productive as a remote employee. These tools and software enable users to think and collaborate visually at any time. Virtual software makes it easy to share and collaborate with your team like never before.

If you are wanting to be part of the new normal these are some of my predicative to help you get started. All around the world, we are all fighting this battle called “Covid-19” and for once in our life, we are all on one side. I know it is extremely easy to feel victimized but it’s time we look forward and not let this pandemic defeat us. The time has never been so perfect as now, to be able to take this opportunity to create, collaborate, and expand your growth and to open yourself to new possibilities.
